KQi was engaged by the Client to provide claims and dispute advisory services in relation to an international industrial project subject to arbitration proceedings against the EPC Contractor. Our scope included preparation and substantiation of claims, analysis of contractual entitlement, and support throughout the arbitration process. Our scope included defining the contracting model, supporting partner contract set-up, commercial evaluation of bids, and advising on commercial and procurement issues during the bidding phase. KQi provided independent, market-informed guidance to support effective risk allocation and decision-making.

Our scope included facilitating contract strategy workshops, defining the delivery and contracting approach, and supporting contract formation and bidding activities. KQi advises on risk allocation, setting up contract management for Client’s team, commercial terms, and tender strategy to support informed procurement decisions.

KQi was appointed by a Waste-to-Energy Client to provide commercial and contract advisory services for a carbon capture project in North Holland. Our scope included facilitating structured strategy workshops to define the project delivery and contracting approach, resulting in a two-stage contracting strategy with a dual-feed configuration. KQi supported the Client throughout the FEED phase, advising on risk allocation, scope demarcation, and market engagement, and provided ongoing contract management support. At the conclusion of FEED, the project was placed on hold. KQi ensured that contractual positions, documentation, and strategy decisions were properly managed and safeguarded, enabling the Client to retain optionality for future project restart.

KQi was appointed by the Contractor to provide commercial and contract advisory support on a large-scale mixed-use development in Berlin. Our scope included supporting contract negotiations with the Employer, setting up the project’s contract management framework, and providing ongoing commercial support during execution. KQi also assisted with the preparation and substantiation of extension of time (EOT) claims and advised the Contractor on dispute-related matters. Through this support, the Contractor strengthened its contractual position, improved claim readiness, and managed time and risk exposure more effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

KQi was appointed by a Waste-to-Energy Client to provide independent commercial and contract advisory support during the early development and project capture phase of a large-scale carbon capture, transport and storage (CCS) project in the Netherlands. Our scope included advising on delivery and contracting strategy, facilitating commercial and risk workshops, and defining contracting principles and scope demarcation for subsequent FEED and procurement phases. KQi also supported the commercial and contractual structuring of CO₂ transport and storage arrangements, including interfaces with transport operators, storage providers, and CO₂ offtakers.
