Asli Mandi

Asli is an accomplished contracts and claims management professional with over 20 years of international experience leading high-value EPC/EPCM projects in mining, carbon capture, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Proven track record in developing and executing strategic contract management plans for multi-billion-dollar projects.

Leverages deep expertise in FIDIC contracts and risk management to drive effective tendering, negotiation, and administration of major construction contracts while minimizing disputes. Adept at resolving complex claims and international arbitrations, having led contract teams and dispute resolutions across Europe, the Middle East (including Gulf region), Africa, and North America. Backed by a strong academic foundation in architecture, project management, and construction law (MSc with Distinction) she brings strategic insight and authoritative leadership to ensure project success and contractual compliance.

Emre Can Öztürk

Emre joined KQI in 2023, bringing a decade of specialized experience in complex contract management and commercial strategy. As a dual-qualified professional holding a Civil Engineering degree and a Master’s in Law, Emre provides a unique, holistic perspective on project risk and contract integrity.

Throughout Emre’s career, he has successfully managed international contracts of varying scale, ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-billion dollar CAPEX projects. This experience encompasses working with both standard-form contracts and bespoke agreements, ensuring commercial protection and predictable delivery across diverse global jurisdictions. Emre applies this extensive technical and contractual insight to help KQI clients transform project complexity into financial certainty.

Fehmi Alp Vurnal

Alp Vurnal is a civil engineer with over eight years of experience in the construction industry, specialising in contract administration, claims management, and commercial management across infrastructure, industrial, hospitality, and high-rise projects in multiple jurisdictions.

He holds a master’s degree with a focus on contract, claim, and delay management and is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. Alp is currently undertaking advanced studies in Construction Law and has strong practical and academic familiarity with international standard forms of contract, including FIDIC, JCT, and bespoke EPC contracts. His combined technical, commercial, and legal expertise enables him to support clients on complex contractual, claims, and dispute-related matters with a clear and commercially focused approach.
